In a large forest, there was a big guava tree. It had bright green leaves. Every year delicious green guavas grew on it.
On that tree, there was a bright green guava with a very sweet smell. In that guava lived a grub. His name was Gib.
Gib loved eating the guava he was living in. But one day he didn’t want to eat it.
He made a hole in the skin from inside to crawl out of it to see what’s outside.
He took his head out of the hole and looked around. He saw bright orange oranges and bright red apples. As he saw the ground below, he got scared.
“I will never be able to reach the ground”, Gib thought. He was scared of heights.
“If I didn’t get out of this guava, I will never be able to taste those beautiful things”, he thought.
He slowly crawled out of the guava holding on to it as tightly as he could. He didn’t want to slip and fell on the ground. He was too scared to even look around.
Slowly and steadily, he kept crawling. His only aim was to reach the stem of guava. From there he will make his way to the other tree.
Finally, he reached on top of the guava and grabbed the stem tightly.
He took a big sigh of relief.
“YES!!! I made it! I did it!!”, Gib screamed with joy.
He was very happy that day.
He couldn’t stop thinking about the bright red apple on the next tree.
Gib finally came over his fear.
