The H of Self Love
How can you love yourself when-
1. you feel that you are not loved?
2. you feel that you are already loved abundantly?
I will address these questions individually from the perspective of a person who has personally felt and dealt with both. When your mind is in a negative direction, everyone appears like a foe; no matter what.
Believe me, it required immense effort and I had to fight harder to find the right approach and attitude for loving myself. From my experience following are the pointers that really helped and pushed me out of the zone of self-doubt:

1. When you feel that you are not loved then the first step to come out of this state is by accepting your shortcomings
It’s going to be tough as hell because you are already in the pit and accepting your flaws will only make it worse. Sitting alone, crying and cribbing are not going to get you out of that trashy state of mind. You might be feeling depressed or there is a possibility that you probably are depressed, there’s no harm in seeking medical intervention.
Meditate and do calming exercises. If possible, try to spare 10 minutes in the day and sit idle in silence. No work, no phone.
Try to understand your true feelings and emotions. Try to distract your mind from the negative thoughts by shifting your focus on good things. For every one negative thought, try to remember 5 positive thoughts.
2. When you are loved abundantly, loving yourself becomes slightly easier
You are not seeking validation and acceptance from the external sources. All you have to do is work upon yourself and love yourself for who you are. Not to forget that you definitely have something special within that people love you despite your flaws and shortcomings. Just keep that in mind and believe in yourself.
However, when you are filled with self-doubt, the love that you receive might appear like a scheme or backed with a motive. In such case, clear all your doubts by introspection, retrospection and talking to people all those people around you. Talking and asking questions can clear a lot of doubts.
Have faith in yourself and be thankful for all the love that you are getting.
If you are following my posts then do any one of the exercise everyday. Share how you felt. It will motivate me to improve and do better.

“31 Shades Of Pretty Me” is a 31-day transformation program founded by myself to make women fall in love with themselves (all over again). What I started as a hashtag campaign on my Instagram has turned into my passion. It’s a step-by-step program that helps women realise the importance of loving themselves. Through self-love exercises, affirmations and tasks, this program aims to take women on a journey of self-acceptance, self-love and self-admiration.
