If you have completed #BlogchatterAtoZ, then this is your chance to become an author with Blogchatter E-Book Carnival.
Here’s how!
I have been participating in Blogchatter A to Z since 2018 every year and I published my first ever e-book with Blogchatter’s first e-book carnival immediately by registering myself for their e-book carnival. As if, finishing A to Z challenge wasn’t enough, publishing the e-book right after was exhilarating.
I officially became an author! I wrote a collection of 26 children’s stories and received an unbelievable response and feedback. I had 100 downloads in 24 hours!
This year, once again Blogchatter has opened registration for their annual e-book carnival. Here’s what you need to know:
Blogchatter E-Book Carnival – Your Chance to Become Author!
It’s for everyone who wants to become an author!
You can publish your e-book with Blogchatter even if you didn’t participate in the A2Z challenge. You can write something fresh or simply compile your favourite blog posts that you think could turn into an e-book.
It’s the last mile stretch – do it!
As a content creator, a book is definitely a larger medium to reach a broader audience. Expand your wings and soar to newer heights. I know that by the end of the blog challenge, you reach a breaking point and want to take a break from writing but trust me, this last mile stretch will pay all your efforts.
Even though you have a good following of your blog, an e-book is just not a collection of some blog posts. It also establishes you as an expert on your subject and solidifies your genre of writing.
It’s easier than you think!
Once you register for the e-book carnival, you’ll be given a checklist when you put together the ebook. Go through it and check every point. In case you feel stuck, there are mentors to guide you through the entire process.
Is it similar to self-publishing?
No! To get published with Blogchatter all you have to do is:
- Compile the blogs you want to publish. Remember that the world limit of the e-book is 5000 words.
- Stick to the genre or theme. Arrange the blogs as per your narrative or in a sequence that keeps the reader interested.
- Self-editing – You will have to edit the book yourself. You may choose to either edit the book yourself or hire a professional editor. But since your blogs are already out there on your website, this shouldn’t take long.
- Think of a catchy title. The title should be short but also gives readers a hint about what they are going to read.
- Design a cover page. You can do it yourself with the help a professional illustrator or online resources like Canva.
- Compile into a pdf, send it to Blogchatter and done!
Read and be read!
Your book stays on the Blogchatter website and available for downloads for a month.
Blogchatter has a strong community of bloggers and authors. The biggest advantage of getting published through #BlogchatterEbook Carnival is that the co-authors in this carnival and an entire community of writers and bloggers would be interested in reading your book. This also guarantees at least 1 review from the co-authors who are also participating.
The feedback and reviews from the community can help you publicise your book and take it to the next level. You can take it to Kindle or publish it the traditional way.
What are you waiting for? This is your golden chance to make your dream come true!
