It takes no time to make and tastes better than the market ones. (Believe me!)
The best part about homemade garlic and herbs butter is that you can adjust the taste and flavour to your liking. If you are someone who loves the spicy flavour of garlic, then you can add more garlic or if you like salty flavour then you can add more salt.
It can be easily stored in the refrigerator for later use as well. You can use it as a greasing or as a spread, it tastes just awesome. I make a big batch as I like to use it for sauteeing as well.
Homemade Garlic And Herbs Butter Recipe
Ingredients:
1. Butter – 100gm / 3.5 lbs
2. Garlic – 8 cloves, crushed or finely grated
3. Chives or Corriander or Parsely – 1 tsp (fresh or dry)
4. Salt – to taste
Method:
1. Melt or thaw the butter till it reaches the room temperature.
2. In a bowl, beat the butter and salt together till it becomes creamy or fluffy.
3. Add garlic and the herb of your choice. Combine the mixture by stirring or folding.
4. Garlic and herb butter is ready. It can be stored in the refrigerator for later use. Store it in a container with a lid or transfer the mixture on the cling wrap or transparent plastic wrap. Roll it to make a dough or sausage shape and refrigerate.
